In the last 24 hours, 13 more people have died in the country due to the novel coronavirus. The death toll has risen to 8,026. Besides, 291 new cases have been identified in the country. A total of five lakh 40 thousand 26 people have been affected by corona in the country. 364 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of four lakh 6 thousand 6 people in the country recovered from Corona.

In the last 24 hours, 12,071 samples were tested in 210 labs. Besides, 12 thousand 398 samples have been collected. So far, a total of 38 lakh 35 thousand 218 samples have been tested in the country.

Of the 13 new deaths in 24 hours, seven were men and six were women. So far, 6,259 men and 2,007 women have died. Among the dead were one between the ages of 21 and 30, one between the ages of 31 and 40, one between the ages of 41 and 50, four between the ages of 51 and 60 and six over the age of 60. Among those who died in 24 hours, seven died in Dhaka division, two in Chittagong division, two in Rajshahi division, one in Khulna, Sylhet and Mymensingh divisions. Besides, everyone has died in the hospital in the last 24 hours.

The first death in the country was due to coronavirus on March 18. Then, on the 36th day of April 14, the number of Kovid-19 patients stood at one thousand.
