Five more people have died of coronavirus in the last 24 hours in the country. The total number of deaths due to the virus was eight thousand 342 people. Corona has been identified in the bodies of 350 more people. So far, a total of five lakh 43 thousand 24 people have been identified in the country.
This was stated in the regular press release of the Department of Health on Saturday (February 20) afternoon. In the last 24 hours, samples of 11,146 people have been tested.
On Friday (February 19), six people died of Covid-19 disease in the previous 24 hours. At this time, corona was identified in the bodies of 406 more people.
Besides, 424 more patients undergoing treatment at home and hospital have recovered in the last one day. As a result, the number of healthy patients has increased to 4 lakh 90 thousand 692 people.
Of the 5 people killed in the last 24 hours, 3 were men and 2 were women. 4 of them died at the hospital. Another died at home. Of the total deaths, 6,314 were males and the remaining 2,026 were females.
The age-based analysis of those who died in the last 24 hours showed that four were over 60 years of age and the other was between 51 and 60 years of age. All the dead are from Dhaka division.
