The Board of Directors of Bangladesh has decided to form a new board by dissolving the boards of directors of four companies listed in the capital market. Shibli Rubaiyat-ul-Islam, chairman of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, told the media on Monday night.

The companies are United Airways, CNA Textile, Family Tex and Emerald Oil Limited.

United Airways:  United Airways is currently trading in the OTC market. The company was listed on the stock exchange in 2010.

The managers have only 2.5 percent of the company’s shares. Institutional investors hold 11.06 percent of the shares and general investors hold 7.43 percent.

CNA Textile:  CNA Textile was listed on the stock exchange in 2015.

The directors have 22.14 percent shares in the company. Institutional investors have 15.6 percent and general investors have 82.19 percent.

Family Tax:  Family Tax was listed on the stock exchange in 2013.

The directors own only 4.2 percent of the company’s shares. Institutional investors have 18.41 percent and general investors have 8.56 percent.

Emerald Oil:  Emerald Oil was listed on the stock exchange in 2014.

The directors have 30.45 percent shares in the company. Institutional investors have 16.06 percent and general investors have 53.46 percent.
