New Zealand has suspended high-level political and military ties with Myanmar over a military coup. The country’s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern made the announcement at a news conference on Tuesday (February 9th). News Reuters.

Jacinda Ardern says Myanmar’s military leaders will soon be banned from traveling to New Zealand. In addition, none of New Zealand’s ongoing assistance programs in Myanmar will support the country’s military.
